New England’s most prestigious carvers of birds and animals plus wildlife painters will gather at Green Briar to show and sell their wares during our 10th annual carvers’ show. Some will give carving demonstrations for the public. As a special feature this year, the show will host Ray Brown’s Talkin’ Birds radio program, which will be broadcast from Green Briar between 9:30am and 10:00am on Sunday. All admission fees benefit the educational programs of the Burgess Society. Please pay at the door.

 

 Admission: $3 members, $5 non-members

Featured Carver Al Jordan of Rochester, NY will present a program on “Falconry” with live birds.

 
     
1:00 pm

Carver John Mello, Jr. of Warren, RI will give a demonstration on “New and Old Texturing Techniques.”

Carver Michael McCarthy of Mattapoisett, MA will demonstrate  “Carving an Old Style Root Head Curlew”
