Dino-mania!

Explore the world of dinosaurs through
hands-on activities. Look at incredible fossils and create an
imprint fossil to take home. Examine different types of
dinosaurs using amazing replicas. Explode a homemade volcano!
Hogwart’s Potions Class
$160 members $180 non-members
(Additional child $16) (1 hour) Ages 6 and up.
Offered year round.
Come to Potions Class and create incredible
mixtures with amazing abilities from unusual ingredients
inspired by the Harry Potter book series.
Live Animal STORY TIME

(Additional child $12) (1 hour) Ages 3 and up.
Offered year round.
Our staff teacher/naturalists engage
children with a lively Burgess animal story and everyone gets to
meet and interact with live critters related to the story.
Optional outdoor explore

Mad Scientists!

Oobleck.
Discover which water-based marker wrote the secret note as you
explore Water Chromatography.

WILD about Animals

Offered year round.
Birthday child selects the sequence of our
live critters that come out for a fun meet and greet with the
party participants. Choose from turtles, snakes, rabbits,
hedgehogs, frogs and guinea pig.

IN NATURE
FAIRY Houses
$120 members $140 non-members
(Additional child $12) (1 hour) Ages 3 and up.
Offered year round.
Listen to a reading of
Tracy Kane’s Fairy House book for mood setting and instruction.
Children then select from bark, twigs, shells, pine cones and
other bits from nature to create a house along our Fairy Hill
Trail.
SAFARI
$120 members $140 non-members
(Additional child $12) (1 hour) Ages 3 and up.
Offered year round.
Explore the Briar
Patch Trail “Safari Style” in search of evidence of animal
activity. Trail is “spiked” with lots of artifacts to find.
Meet some of our resident live animals.
Seasonal
frog catching expedition.
AT
THE POND
CANOE-CATAMARAN Adventure
$170
members $190 non-members
(Additional child $17) a 12 child maximum for boat) (1.5 hours)
Ages 4 and up. Offered May 15 - Oct. 15.
Explore out on the Smiling Pool for turtles and frogs to
capture, examine and release.
One adult from the party group must accompany our staff in
boat.
PIRATE’S LIFE FOR ME
$180
members $200 non-members
(Additional child $18—a 12 child maximum for boat) (1.5 hours)
Ages 6 and up. Offered Mid May - October.
Learn about Pirate life and hunt for buried
treasure aboard the Black Mussel. Each child receives pirate
booty to take home. One adult
from the party group must accompany our staff in boat.
Note: Program
hours do not include "party" time

We provide a 1 to 2 hour program
with a Society naturalist.
Approximate time for program portion is listed by each party.
Parties are booked in 2 to 3-hour
blocks.
Check each description for suitable ages.
All parties are priced based upon 10
participants.
Additional fees are charged for additional
participants.
We require a non-refundable $25 deposit payable within
2 weeks of the party.
Use of a private room for 1 hour is provided.
You provide all the party-related items.
We have refrigerator or freezer space available for your use
