There is so much to see and do. . . .

The Thornton W. Burgess Society is a non-profit educational organization dedicated "to inspire reverence for wildlife and concern for the natural environment" in the tradition of author and naturalist Thornton Waldo Burgess. The Society serves its members through a Program Schedule, the newsletter, Briar Patch Observer; the Robert Swain Library; and classes and workshops  for children, adults and families.  Members receive discounts for gift shop and mail order purchases, (including jam kitchen products) and most classes. Members also have the satisfaction of knowing they are supporting the cause of conservation and preservation of our natural and historical heritage.

For further information, email christine@thorntonburgess.org.

At the Green Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen you can relax in our award winning wildflower garden, say hello to the animals in the Education Building, breathe in the wonderful aromas in our Jam Kitchen and join in some of our great classes.

At the East Sandwich Game Farm you can walk through miles of trails where you will see the natural beauty of Cape Cod's environment.

Members of the Thornton Burgess Society can now take advantage of a 10% discount off all plants at Brick Kiln Farm, 254 Brick Kiln Road, East Falmouth (508-548-3276).  The Farm has been growing plants on Cape Cod since 1987.  They offer vegetative-grown and seed grown plants that are not available elsewhere.  Please show your membership card to take advantage of this wonderful offer.  You can also “like” them on Facebook for directions and details at Brick Kiln Farm
