Burgess telling stories to several youngsters. He is surrounded by woodland animals who are listening as well. Very nice condition.   $60.

One pound net. H. Cady wrap around circus design with elephants. Bright colors. Minor wear. Excellent condition! Signed by H. Cady.   $475.

 

77. HAPPY JACK TIN BANK. Oval 4¼" long, 2 ¾" tall & 1 5/8" deep with 1¼" slit in top for money. Wrap around H. Cady multicolor design of Happy Jack Squirrel and "Receiving Teller" Owl. Sides are colorful and nice condition. Top shows wear & marks of use. Printing on each side of coin slit reads:   $160.

79. PETER RABBIT BABY POWDER CAN. Blue with full color H. Cady illus. 3 5/8" tall. Red top. 4¼" across. Two different scenes - front and back. Small "gold" shield label "Peter Rabbit Baby Powder. Compound stearate of zinc vivaudou." Front depicts Peter & Mrs. Peter putting powder on a baby bunny. Reverse shows four rabbits, frog, squirrel & Spotty Turtle. Beautiful bright colors. Minimum wear to red cap. Contains powder.   $350.

80. CANDY BOX. Peter Rabbit's Easter Greeting. Blue small rectangular covered candy box with handle. 4½" long, 2 3/8" tall & 2 5/8" deep. Peter Rabbit himself center of top, with three bunnies and a Miss Fluffy Chick. Wrap around design has Peter with artist paintbrush & palette painting Easter eggs with 9 bunnies and Mrs. Peter Rabbit. Bright colors, excellent design. Cover edges worn with small chips. Nice little tin. Appears to be H. Cady.   $275.

81. BLUE OVAL COVERED TIN WITH HANDLE. Peter Rabbit on Parade. 4½" long, 2½" tall & 3¼" across. A parade of animal characters around the sides, including Uncle Billy Possum, Tommy Turtle, Reddy Fox, Peter & Mrs. Peter, Happy Jack Squirrel. Patriotic Peter with drum and 2 other bunnies on top. Wonderful color & beautiful condition. Very minor wear on edge of cover. Condition is excellent. Appears to be H. Cady illustrations.   $350.
